File Conversion and Backup (Windows)
How do I archive or back up past years?
yogirl66
I have transactions dating back to 2001. How do I safely archive, backup or delete transactions to save room on my laptop? Hoping it won't affect current balances, etc.

Don't do it. You will wish later on that you had all the data in a single file for searching your financial history.
If you are worried about file size, don't add attachments to it, they take up a lot of room and can only be accessed via Quicken one at a time. You are better off keeping them in their own folder structure outside of Quicken.
