Editing to change a transaction or group of transactions
eric
Used to be I could go into an itemized category report and recategorize transactions, rename payees, change tags by either right clicking or going to the edit key. Those options show up but are lightly shaded, meaning they are inactive. WHY?? I'm in a bank account wanting to recategorize a whole bunch of transactions. I'm working on a saved report, that should be editable, right? I can edit the transactions but only one at a time, by clicking on the transaction in the report. Then when I return to the report after editing, I'm taken back to the top of my 12 page report and have to scroll to find where I was last working. Frustrating. Gotta be an answer, since the options are there, just turned off? Thanks

Some of the options will be unavailable when we have selected multiple transaction entries, if we have selected split transaction entry. The issue is that Quicken doesn't know whether the option should apply to the entire transaction or just the selected entries and, therefor, makes the option unavailable.
