I boughtQuicken 2018 through Amazon and it does not have a 16-digit activation code. How do I

When I downloaded the new version, it deleted my Quicken 2015 and it would not accept the new version because I did not have the activation code--now what can I do? I have a back up copy of all my Quicken info. I have been a Quicken User for 25 years so this is not new to me.

The 16-digit activation code should be on the card the the CD box or in the order confirmation email. If you lost your activation code before you were able to use it, I suggest you contact Quicken Support:

Did you save the Emails from Amazon.com regarding your purchase? If Quicken 2018, was a Download from Amazon.com, it would be in a separate Email from Amazon.com.
