    Doing a Web Connect sometimes "shakes loose" the cobwebs. Try an EWC and see if the error has gone away.

    Re-read what you wrote.  Imagine that you are reading it for the first time, do you really think you have provided enough information to formulate an intelligent answer?
    In other words, more information is needed.

    Version of Quicken (Help-About Quicken)
    Version of Windows (Winver)
    THE ERROR that is given.
    Type of transaction.

    You get the idea, things that would be helpful.

  • QVer: R24.14 - 27.1.24.14
    WinVer: Windows 10 Pro version 1909
    Account Name: HSA
    Account Company: ChoiceBank
    Transaction Type: Deposit
    Error: Illegal Operation: {0}

    There's no repair option on it either.

    Would that name, as shown in Q, be "Choice Bank  WI"?  There is NO "ChoiceBank" listed in Q.

  • oh yeah sorry. It's Choice Financial
  • I've just let Quicken do everything, but I'll try the other way and it's a deposit. Like almost all of the other transactions, that's why I'm so confused.
  • The regular web connect worked. I'd rather not have to download it, but I guess that's what I'll be doing from now on.
  • It's a deposit from my check and it is a checking account.
