Trying to reinstall, but I keep getting an error

I was forced to re-install after using for a month today. When I reinstall, it tells me I have to manually uninstall, which I do, but then it reinstalls, and tells me that I need to uninstall. It also says to delete the installation folder, but there is no folder where they say their should be. This program has been total crap since I started using it. So frustrating.

  • Well, after posting I figured it out. Still not sure why I had to uninstall and reinstall.

Hmmm, that's unusual. I have never heard of Quicken directing a user to uninstall and re-install. I can't even imagine what circumstance would cause that. I'm not sure what you mean by installation folder, either; there's an installer, but I've never seen it say to remove it. I'm glad you got it installed successfully, but if something like that happens again, you'd definitely in some unusual territory; make sure to take screen shots of the dialog box(es) if you run into this again.
