How do I solve problem downloading to Bank of America Credit Cards?

Beginning about early January, I was no longer able to download Bank of America credit card transactions in Quicken for Mac. I finally disabled downloads on the account, but when I tried to set up downloads again, I was not recognized by Bank of America—would get message that username or passcode not recognized. However, there is no problem entering the account through my browser using same username and password. I have spent two long sessions with Quicken help persons, trying many things, but none of them worked. This seems to be different from the problem with Bank of America downloading that is reported as resolved.

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue to the Community, although I apologize that you have not yet received a response.
What version/release of Quicken are you using? You can find that by going to Quicken>About Quicken. Also, please see this FAQ for details on adding more information to your post so that other Community members are best able to assist you.
If you have not already done so, I'd start by taking a look at the instance you are selecting from the Bank List, as well as the connection type being used.
I suggest using "Bank of America" for the instance and then you'll want to click "Options" at the bottom before continuing. Unless you specifically want to use Direct Connect, please be sure that "Quicken Connect" is selected, click "Continue" and then put in your online banking username and password.
