How to Create a Read Only Copy?

Is it possible to either create a read-only copy of my file or start Quicken in a read-only mode? There are times when I wish to access the data without risking file changes.

Thanks much for assistance,

Just make a Quicken Backup before you start and you can Restore it if need be OR just work with a copy of the data file.

-splasher using Q continuously since 1996
    - Subscription Quicken - Win11 and QW2013 - Win11

I would revise that to "Just make a Quicken Backup before you start  each time you finish ...".  You don't really have an option to make a backup before your data file gets changed by the file opening process.  The basic principle is the same and there is no read-only option.
