Within Q, the signin shows my old, invalid email address and won't allow a change in the box.

Quicken runs fine, m/l, but whenever it needs my username/password, the signin box is prefilled with an old, invalid email address. Unfortunately, it's shaded gray with a red "x". As I no longer have access to this old email account, how can I unlock this box?

To update your Quicken ID email address, I suggest you select Help > My Quicken Account and Change Quicken Email/Quicken ID
Next, reset the Quicken ID associated with the data file:- Select Edit > Preferences...
- Select Quicken ID, Sync & Alerts
- Select Sign in as a different user
- Enter yes
- Select Sign Out
- Sign in with the correct Quicken ID

Hi @Yoicks,
Thanks for posting to our community.
If you are unable to change your Quicken ID during the sign-in prompt, you can click the Create a new ID for your data file or Sign in with a different Quicken ID link towards the bottom of the window.
You should be able to enter your current Quicken ID on the next window and sign back in.Best,
