Average per category spending for last year

I'd like to run a report that will show average spending per Category, per month for last year. Is there such a report?

    Try the Reports > Spending > Current Spending vs Average Spending by Category report. Experiment with the settings til you get what you want.

    Not exactly what I was hoping for. Just a report that would show average for (selected) categories, over a certain time. I'm surprised that with all the time and effort Quicken has put into Budgets over the years this simple report is not available, since average payments dovetails so closely to budgeting. You can do a single average report for a given line item transaction, but not an !all inclusive for several. It could be a very simple thing for developers to do too!

    It's the middle column of the report I referenced above.
    Set the Compare to: to last 12 months or whatever time frame you want.
    Click the gear then the Categories tab to select whatever categories you want. 
    Save the report if you want to use those settings again.
    Export to Excel and delete the extra columns if you don't want them.
