After doing a computer reset I inadvertanly restored a backup that the history stopes at the beginning of 2019 and entered 2020 transactions from January 1, 2020 to March 13, 2020. I also have a backup file with my total history back to 2011. Is there a way to meld the 2020 transaction entries into the correct history file without causing duplicate 2019 tansation isssues? If not, is my only alternative to reenter the 2 and 1/2 months to 2020 transactions? Please help before I make a bigger mess.

I suggest you consider exporting and importing relevant account transactions in QIF format by by using File > File Operations > Copy... to generate a data file that only holds the 2020 transactions.

Hi @pep41 ,
You have restored a Data File that is less than 90 days from the beginning on the year.
Do not Automatically add downloaded transactions to banking registers.
Run One Step Update. Be sure to correct any passwords, you might have changed, if you have problems.
Have you tried to correct the problem by restoring your last Manual Backup?
