how to copy transactions from one quicken data file to another for a specific account
tt1
My wife and I were accidentally entering transactions into two different QDF files. Fortunately we were working on separate accounts within the QDF files, so there should be no merge conflicts.
Is there a way to either:
a) copy transactions from a specific account from one Quicken Data File to another?
or
b) export the transactions from one Quicken Data File for a specific account, and import them into a different QDF?
Any help would be appreciated as we have a large number of transactions to merge.
Thanks

I suggest you consider exporting and importing account in QIF format:

Thank you, using the QIF file format I was able to export a specific account. I then re-imported the same account to the proper quicken file. This seems to have transferred the transactions and categories successfully, however the reconciled status did not seem to transfer properly. I guess we will have to manually reconcile again, unfortunately this is 2 years worth of transactions.
