How can I remove the "current balance/transaction" that are in red at the bottom of the register?

It just showed up today and is completely different from my actual balance.

    The Current Balance appears at the bottom of the register when there are future transactions in the register.  The amount should be the running balance that appears before the blue line when the register is sorted by date and no filters are applied: open the register, select the Date column header (you want the small triangle to right of Date to point up) and Reset.  If this amount is not correct, I suggest you reconcile the register against the available statements from the financial institution to determine the cause of the discrepancy.
