I have Quicken 2012 on a Win10 desktop and I bought a new Desktop-trying to move it

I installed Quicken 2012 on my Windows desktop about 6 years ago. At the time, I had the CD with the license key but now I cannot find it to move to my new Dell Win 10 desktop I just bought. I know I "registered" originally with Quicken but heard they sold the company. Any suggestions on how to get the license key from Quicken so I can move the license to another computer? Or is there a way to transfer the license over my home network somehow?

Note that Quicken US Windows never had a "license key", at least not for any full retail CDs. Now they did send out some "trial" CD that might have had a key.
If if is asking you to register after the install you can turn that off by holding down the LEFT Shift+Ctrl keys and selecting Tools -> One Step Update...Signature:

If you're attempting to use Reckon's Quicken 2012, I suggest you contact Reckon support: 1-800-RECKON.

Or You can download 2013 for free (I think it's the Deluxe version) using this how to convert article. It’s under Converting from Quicken 2004-2009.https://www.quicken.com/support/how-and-when-use-intermediate-version-convert-older-versions-quicken
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
