Entering Activation Code [edited]

I bought Quicken 2020 from Costco. I received an email with an activation key and a link. When I clicked on the link, it opened up a window that said I should open up Quicken I currently have (Quicken 2017), select Help and then select Enter Activation Code. When I clicked on Help, there is no Enter Activation Code to select.

You have to install subscription Quicken before using the Activation Code, Q2017 has no way of dealing with activation codes.

You have to install subscription Quicken before using the Activation Code, Q2017 has no way of dealing with activation codes.
