Delete an account

Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭
I am trying to remove a stock account. I type in 'yes' and it asks for a password. I have tried every password I know,even the one for the financial account, and it is not accepted. I want to delete the account PERIOD without changing anything.
I don't care about any problems caused by deleting it, I just want it gone.

Sounds like you might have a Transaction password set (File menu).To the best of my knowledge, you will need Quicken Support to help you with that.

Thanks, that had a password. Don't know how. That is one thing I hate about Quicken PASSWORDS
