Costco Quicken purchase link problems
TF
I was going to make a Quicken 2020 purchase from Costco and numerous customers there area having issues with getting the download links to work. Just wondering if it's still an ongoing issue with download links for Costco only or in general.
As a long time Quicken customer and a 2017 customer, I am hoping that Quicken will extend the expiration for 2017 for a few months as a gesture of goodwill and also to minimize inconveniences to both customers and Quicken as Quicken has announced reduced support hours during this unprecedented time.
Thank you! And may everyone stay home and stay safe! Blessings!

I have a Costco credit card (and I'm using Quicken subscription, but it has nothing to do with such problems), and I haven't had any problem with my account.
The reason I haven't had any problems with my account is because it is set up for Direct Connect instead of Express Web Connect.
The mistake most people make is that they use Citibank as the financial institution, this gives you Express Web Connect which is subject to problems based on changing in Citibank's website.
To get Direct Connect with a Citi credit card (doesn't work for bank accounts) use CitiCards for the financial institution.
Note when you first switch from Express Web Connect to Direct Connect you will have to delete duplicate transactions. It best to make sure that you have you account reconciled before doing the switch, so that you know that any downloaded transactions are duplicate and can be deleted.

P.S. Typo it is "Citi Cards" not "CitiCards".

Sounds to me like they are trying to buy Quicken. Not download credit card transactions.
