Is there a setting to require you to press save before a transaction is saved?

I recently upgraded to subscription version. Previously, I had to click "save" before a change was made to an existing transaction. Now it saves autmatically.

Its a problem because if I inadvertently clear a date -- which I have doen twice in the past few hours, I am unable to correct it -- before I could simply choose not to save the transaction.

Edit>Preferences>Notify>check "To save a transaction after changing it"
