Will Quicken 17 Deluxe Back-Up File load in new Starter Quicken?

I have backed up my data from Quicken 17 and about to upgrade to the newest version. I am currently using the deluxe version, but plan on stepping back to the Starter version. Will the Starter version accept the back up file from the Deluxe version?

Kinda. Starter can ONLY handle checking, savings, cash and credit card accounts. If you have ANY other type of account in Deluxe, it will come into Starter but be frozen.NOTE IN PARTICULAR, there are no provision for investment accounts, asset accounts or loan accounts in Starter. Here is the comparison of the various products: https://www.quicken.com/compare

Thanks. No investment accounts, just the basics so that works well.0
