File Conversion and Backup (Windows)
File is showing on Mobile but not Computer
jesalynkate
I recently took over a local non profit's treasury duties, so the former treasurer needed to send me the data file for our organization.
She called Quicken and says they went into her computer and somehow synced the file with my account. Please note; my account is her old account, we just changed the contact information.
When I try to log in and view it on mobile, the data file name "VAAP 2010" appears. However, it states that I must log in on the computer to sync the data. When I log in on the computer, the name does not even show as an account.
PLEASE HELP. I've called Quicken several times but they don't seem to understand what I am explaining.

Hi
@jesalynkate
,
The File must be local. In order to download transactions and you must take ownership of the data file.
Once you take ownership of the file, you can work on the file.
See this FAQ:

You left out the operating system she is using and you are using.
She needs to give you a Manual Backup of the Data File, so you can restore it, to your computer as long as both are using either Windows or Mac Computers,
