Global Budget Change In Reports

Hello,
Each report I have created that references a budget is linked to a specific budget. Is there any way to change the budgets for a group of reports at once or do you have to do it one by one?
Alternatively if that is the case, are the budget names hard-coded? By that I mean that if I currently have a budget called "Current" and next year I rename a different budget to be "Current" will the reports now reference the new budget?
Thanks,
Peter

We may only change the budget used by a report by opening the report.
Budget names are not hard-coded. It appears as if a budget is assigned an incremented index when the budget is created. If you change the name of the budget saved in a report, the saved report will use the budget with the new name (the original index). If you delete a budget, the saved report uses an available budget with the closest lower index. If there is no lower index, the saved report uses the available budget with the highest index.0 -
Thanks Sherlock. That was very helpful,
