Remove duplicate investments

I noticed one of my accounts contains duplicate investments and investment entries. The duplicate investments and entries appear within the investing summary window. The duplicate investments contain different values which may be due to erroneous placeholders. How do I remove the duplicate investments within the single account without harming the other accounts?
