    I cannot get my 401k to accurately download. It's double what it should be. I think placeholders are causing this but I need to have it accurate. I have deleted and reset the account and it's still doubled.

    Since this is a 401k, you're presumably transferring money into the 401k account with each paycheck.
    Are you Recording BUY transactions to use that cash?
    And, yes, if you're not recording the BUY transactions and you're downloading into the account, then Q will generate placeholder transactions for the missing purchases.  Add those placeholders to the non-used cash ... and the value of your account doubles.
