Assuming your Quicken data file is in the default location and you haven't moved it…
- In the Finder, hold down the Option key and select Library from the Go menu. (Library is headed in that menu unless the Option key is held down.)
- Open Application Support
- Open Quicken
- Now Enter Time Machine on the Time Machine menu in your top menu bar.
- On the right side of Time Machine, navigate back in time to whatever day you want to restore from.
- You can then find your live data file (from that backup time) in the Documents folder, or your most recent backups (from that time) in the Backups folder.
- Once you identify the file you wish to restore, click it once to highlight it, then click Restore.
