Why doesn't Quicken update the calendar to show a few days before and a few days after the current month? When entering transactions manually it is much easier to pick a date that shows instead of having to change the month. Most programs that have calendars show days before and days after. I had asked Quicken 15 years ago about adding this feature and they thought it was a good idea. A lack of this feature makes the program seem out of date.

@rcaruso - What you are suggesting is a product improvement. A good place to post suggested product changes/improvements is at https://community.quicken.com/categories/product-enhancements-(windows) where you and other users have the opportunity to review and vote for it and the Quicken team monitors suggested changes/improvements posted here. The more users who vote for it the more likely Quicken will put it into their development plans.
