Registers & Transactions (Windows)
How do I activate memory m/m in a checking account for amounts and category (utility pay)?
GeorgeJr
For transactions on a month to month basis, Utility bills as an example, I have to key in the amount each month as well as the category the transaction is going to be assigned. If the amount is listed from the previous month and is a different amount, I have to go in and update the amount. Then, the next month, the old amount is still listed. Current or up to date amounts are not remembered as well as the category to which a transaction is assigned.

What you are looking for is Bill Reminders. Once setup, they will auto enter into the register at the assigned time. Do F1 in Quicken and do a search for more info.
