Unable to add an investment transaction (or change duplicated ones)

I've got some transactions I need to add to my investment account. When adding transactions the entire top line is locked out. I'm unable to change security or transaction type. Any suggestions?

In your image, it looks like the start of a normal new investment transaction. You say you can't change the Security, but the Security field is below in the detail section. Are you not able to click in the Security field and type a security name or select one from the drop-down list? 

As for doing a different type of investment transaction, it looks like you have the Type column hidden. Click on Columns on the bottom toolbar and check Type to display the Type column. Now you'll be able to specify what type of transaction you're entering.
