Missing transactions to Placeholder doesn't show until I exit and restart Quicken
Paul S Goldberg
I have 3 missing transactions show up in one account. I select 'create placeholder' the number of placeholders remains at 0. I move to another investing account or to a banking account and return to find the Placeholder = 0. Exit Quicken altogether and the placeholder increments to 3 when I log in again. This really should increment when I accept the change.

Way too simple a solution. It worked

You are talking about the placeholder count on the tab at the bottom right, correct?
I have also seen that this is not updated after creating a new placeholder. If you click on the tab to expand it, is the count updated?

Will try that when I have another opportunity. This afternoon I'll clear a Placeholder and see if that resolves. Seems like something that Q should fix eventually.
