The account balance for a specific investment account on an account balances report is different than the register account balance. The difference does not correspond to any transaction in the account.

There may be a number of reasons. Reports allow us to filter the transactions included, For example, the date ranges may be differ. It's also possible the account needs to be recalculated: https://www.quicken.com/support/recalculate-investment-register5
