How do I change bank sync information?

To compound on the situation - there are two different Quicken accounts set up for the same bank account. One is historical and one is current and accurate as of mid June. They are linked via different bank logins. The bank logins have recently changed due to personnel changes and do not now allow the accurate version of the account in Quicken to update with the transactions but instead the historical account is now getting the transaction imports.
Is there away to update the bank/sync information to move the transactions/syncs back to the current version of the account in Quicken?
Also - Is there a way to move transactions loaded to the historical account in Quicken to the current account in Quicken - ie just switching the account as QuickBooks allows?

I'm assuming you don't want to have any downloads going into the historical account. If this is correct:1) Back up your data file for quick retrieval in case something goes wrong.2) Historical Account:
- Account Register > upper right Gear icon > Edit Account Details > Online Services tab > Deactivate. This account will no longer try to link with your bank. Do not try to link this account to your bank, again.
- Click on the General Tab:
Remove all Financial Institution information in the upper right
corner (circled in red). You can save that information in the Comments
section for now and reenter it later if you want to but for now
remove it from the upper right corner.
3) Current AccountLet me know if this works for you or if you have any questions.- Follow the same process as in #2.
- Return to the Online Services tab, click on Set Up Now and follow the prompts.
- During this process, Quicken will ask you what to do with the information downloaded from your bank: Add Account, Link to an Account or Ignore. Be sure to select Link and also select your Current Account.
- It
is likely this process will result in transactions being entered into
your register that are duplicates of what was already entered. You will
need to manually delete those new duplicate transactions.
- Future downloads will go into this account only.
4) Moving transactions from the Historical Account to the Current Account (you can move all or only some transactions):- In
the Historical Account: Click on the Date column to ensure that the
transactions are ordered with the oldest date at the top and the newest
date is at the bottom. (This order is not necessary but in my mind it sure makes the next steps easier.)
- Highlight the oldest dated transaction you want to move by left clicking on it.
- Scroll down to the newest dated transaction you want to move. While holding down the Shift key, left click on it. All of the transactions you want to move should now be highlighted.
- Right click anywhere on the highlighted transactions and click on Move Transactions > Current Account > OK.
- This process will change any transfers to/from other accounts so the transfers will now be to/from the Current Account instead of to/from Historical Account.
- You'll now want to review the Current Account to make sure it has an accurate balance and then reconcile it.
- If you do move all of your transactions out of the Historical Account and if the Current Account reconciles properly you can now the delete the Historical Account if you want to: Account Register > upper right Gear icon > Edit Account Details > any tab > Delete Account button lower left corner > Yes > OK.
- If you don't want to delete the Historical Account, another option you might want to consider is to close the account: Account Register > upper right Gear icon > Edit Account Details > Display Options tab > Close Account button > Yes > OK. Read about what closing an account does before Yes > OK.
- You can also keep the account open but Hide it or keep it Separate (the options are also on the Display Options tab). While deleting or closing an account is irreversible, Hiding or keeping and account Separate are reversible.
