When I print transaction reports why in both printer and PDF do the credits print with 2 minus signs

Debits print with a reoeat of the 1st number i.e. 34 as 34 or 0.00 as 00.00.

That is the Banking Transaction report. This can also be accessed by clicking on the gear at the top right of a banking register, choosing More reports and then Register report.
When I opened it I noticed there were two Amount columns. Perhaps the issue is that @Barry Stuart also has two and first one is very narrow, just picking up the first character.
Clicking on Reset Columns in the report customization cleared up the duplicated column.
But the problem also visible in the screenshot is that the Amount column is left justified, making it very difficult to read the values.QWin Premier subscription6 -

Do you use Quicken Mac or Quicken for Windows? US or Canadian version?
What version, edition level and release of Quicken are you using? Click Help / About Quicken (Mac: Quicken / About Quicken) to get this information.

Same issues for me. My transaction report is a mess. An extra '-' character appears in front of each debit transaction, and the first numeral of each credit transaction is duplicated. Not much use for my accountant! Happens if I print to Canon printer, or to any .pdf, all the same. Must get fixed asap, a complete mess.0
