I have been a Quicken customer for very many years, using both the tax and personal finance softwares. I am currently using the Quicken Deluxe for Canada and have decided not to renew my subscription. Thought the software works, it is quite useless since there is notw a constant update reminder that occupies about 25% of my register, such that I cannot view some columns. This is very annoying and unfair as in the past, everything would work properly without a subscription except for bank downloads and similar 3rd party services.

See this page for ongoing access to your data if you do not renew the subscription. You can still enter new transactions manually, except for the Starter Edition which becomes read only and is limited.
If you don't renew a subscription about 25% of your screen will be taken up with a reminder to renew.

If you can find a copy of Quicken 2017, I think you can go back to the previous version with no nag screens.

Quicken 2017 can restore Quicken Subscription's Manual Backup Files and work with them, manually. You can't install Quicken 2017 over top of Quicken Subscription. You need to remove all program files, first.See this procedure: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7844658/installing-reinstalling-windows-quicken-subscription-editionsthecreator - User of Quicken Subscription R40.21 USA & Quicken 2017 HBRP R20.6 USA0

NOTE: You will need to find Canadian Quicken 2016 since subscription started with 2017 for the Canadians.
-splasher using Q since 1996 - Subscription - Win10
