Registers & Transactions (Windows)
Future Transactions

I have had Quicken for many many years and have always entered transactions from Bills, Income & transfers to my checking account 3 months in advance. I have quicken deluxe set to renew Dec 2020. It will not allow me to enter transactions from Oct 2020. What have they changed that I don't know about. Without being able to do this, Quicken will be useless to me.

There shouldn't be any reason why you can't enter transactions as far in advance as you want. What kind of error are you getting?
I would also point out that there is a better way of doing this in "recent" versions of Quicken and that is to show your reminders in your register. This allows you to see the affect of entering then without actually entering them in the register. Which in turn means that you can change your mind about how many to see in your register at a time.

I tried that years ago and it did not show me what I need to project expenses. The program shut down by itself and when I reopened it the transactions I tried to enter and didn't show up came back. Guess it had a glitch. Thank you for your answer.
