    Hi @b.a.teller,

If you are asking about signing out of Quicken, here are the steps you need to take:

    To sign out:
    1. Go to the Edit menu > Preferences > Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts and click the "Sign in as a different user" link on the right side of the window.
    2. In the dialogue window that opens, type "yes" in the box to confirm you want to sign out.

That is not really logging out, it is changing which Quicken Id is assigned to a data file and the installed program to determine which edition is activated.
There is no way to really login or logout of Quicken, it is just open and running or closed.

    Hi @splasher,

Yes, I know and that's what I believe the OP was told to do or wanted to do (based on another post he made here within minutes of this one).

Just an FYI - here's a link to the other post  https://community.quicken.com/discussion/comment/20103965#Comment_20103965

He opened this thread about logging out about 7 minutes after he apparently believed he couldn't get a response to the other thread.  My response above was made with that knowledge.
