What is the default category for commissions when buying securities?

When buying a security, I enter an amount in the commission box but it does not ask what category I want to commission amount to be against. What is the default and how can I specify the category?

Commissions are directly added to / subtracted from the total transaction amount, increasing (or not) your net capital gain / loss. You cannot separately categorize this amount.

The only place in Quicken (for Windows) where you can get a total of all Commissions paid is a Investment Transactions report, when suitably customized to the desired date range and then subtotaled by security. I assume Q Mac has a similar report.
