investment account transactions no longer downloading, error (500)

Can't tell for sure (because I haven't seen any other recent posts on this error from Schwab) however this often happens when FI's are working on their systems and either suspend, or take down the servers, while performing maintenance or updating them.
My advice would be to allow 24-48 hours and try again. If you continue have issues after that, you should contact Quicken Support.

According to Wikipedia, an HTTP-500 error code is:500 Internal Server ErrorA generic error message, given when an unexpected condition was encountered and no more specific message is suitable.Which would suggest that Schwab is having an issue of some sort.Your options are, basically, wait it out or contact Schwab, or both.

Thank you both. I have performed quite a few downloads since first receiving that error over two weeks ago, so apparently I will need to contact Quicken and/or Schwab.
