Adding expense to existing budget. (Q Mac)

If I try to add an expense to existing budget it puts it under expense on edit window but under income on budget window.

    Hello @webb41

    Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. There's a chance that the category is listed as a income so we'll double check that. If you go across the top to window > Categories. Double click on the category that you're having trouble with and then a small window will pop up. Double check that the category is set to an expense. 

    This is the normal cause of things not appearing in the correct spot in budgets. Try it out and see if that's the case. If it isn't we'll see what we can try next to get it set in order.

    Thanks for your response. Yes, the item is listed as an expense. It puts it in the correct section in the edit window, but after saving changes and returning to the budget window it's under income.

    That solved the issue. It was a negative number.
