Why do hidden payees still autofill? (Q Mac)

Some time ago, Quicken introduced a bug that hidden payees autofill. I've found two threads referring to this, one on June 8 and than other on June 12. Both threads are closed with the answer that it is a known issue will be fixed in an upcoming update. There have been several updates and the issue remains. How do I find out if Quicken really does know about it and intends to fix it?

It's likely that the current 5.17 release, which began release in early July, was too far along in testing for them to go back to deal with this issue. Yes, there have been "dot releases" to bring 5.17 up to 5.17.5, but those are generally for crashing issues and other random fixes that are typically quick/easy issues to resolve.
The threads you referenced stated that Quicken is aware of the issue. I can add only concurrence that this is a known issue to the Quicken developers and exists in their internal issue-tracking database. But we don't know when a fix will be released.
I suggest waiting until the 5.18 release comes out and raising this issue again if it is not addressed then. When will that be? We never know the schedule, but typically the releases come about 6-10 weeks apart, which would suggest some time between late this month to mid-September.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19935
