Loading Quicken 2016 on new PC and attempting to load data from old PC
Redesq
I am unable to load my data onto my new PC. I am taken to a screen that asks for my Intuit ID and Password. I input that info and it is not accepted. I tried setting up a new account and it will not let me do so.
I have contacted Quicken and they tell me that the problem is with Intuit (Intuit no longer sells Quicken- Quicken is a separate entity from Intuit since, I believe, 2018. I contacted Intuit and they cannot help me since they no longer handle/sell Quicken.
I legally own Quicken 2016 and have my data that needs to be inputted, but I cannot do so without logging in to Intuit. I am going around in circles. I am getting dizzy! Please help!!

That it's asking for an INTUIT ID means that you're on a very old version of QW2016.
Download and then install the "Quicken 2016" Release 19.5 MONDO patch from here and then install it.
http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/quickenpatches.html
That will switch you over to the install asking for a QUICKEN ID.
