UN-deposited Rents account

Hi Everyone,

New bee here and prob a dumb question. But what type of account is the "Un-deposited rents" account supposed to be? Meaning is it just an account under my checking account ? Thanks for the help!

It's an Asset type account of some sort.  Either a Cash account, Other Asset, or Banking account would work ... although I'd discourage the use of a banking account.
And, this is a separate account. There's no  "under my checking account" AKA a 'sub-account' in  Q.
    Sub-categories, YES ... but no sub-accounts.
