How to make a journal entry ... (Q Mac)

I have Quicken for Mac ... and since updates, I no longer am able to make an adjusting entry or edit and entry ... the tool bar at the bottom of the ledger no longer shows up

    @dfuhrman  Please elaborate that you are not able to edit an entry; what happens when you double-click on a transaction? Also, please indicate what version of Quicken you have (in the Quicken > About Quicken menu) and what version of macOS you are running, in case that's relevant.
