Syncing to use mobile app and web.

First time trying to sync cloud with desktop to use mobile app and web but I get this warning"You are about to sync a file which has older data than the cloud. Quicken will replace your cloud data with information from the current desktop data file".
How would I correct this before continuing?
Thanks.

Hello @Sluggos
Thank you for the additional question, although I apologize for any confusion and delay in response.
You are correct, if you select to sync the file, any older information in the data file will override the information already in the Quicken cloud.
If you do not wish to override the newer information in the cloud, I would recommend selecting the "I'm just viewing this file" option, which will open the file, but not sync to the cloud.
Are you by any chance restoring a backup or copy of your data file? Or is this message occurring when attempting to sync your normal, everyday Quicken data file?
Please let us know, thank you.

Hello @Sluggos
Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. In this case this warning should okay for us to sync over. The data on the could is being replaced rather and not any on your data file. You may have had mobile turned on originally when setting up the product and turned it off later from the sounds of it.
If the warning is not letting you through could you take a screenshot if it and we'll see what we can try in order to get past it.
Thanks,

Thanks Francisco but are you saying I should go ahead and sync anyway? Cloud data will be changed to an older data file.0
