Out of interest, related to this, does anyone know why I can run Turbotax Canada and Turbotax US on the same Windows machine but I can't run Quicken Canada and Quicken US on the same machine?

(I understand that Turbotax and Quicken are now owned by separate companies.)

The simple answer is they were not written to allow that in Windows. The Mac versions allow you to run two different US versions, so I'm guessing you could run both US and Cdn.

You could run one in the native OS and a second in a virtual machine OS on that same computer. One advantage to this is that you can run them at the same time.
