Is there a way to assign specific Category Groups to each Account Type ?

I'd like for my Business Categories to be assigned to my Business Accounts and my Personal Categories to my Personal Accounts. That way I don't have to filter thru as many categories when choosing one for a transaction.

No there isn't a way to do this.  At one time there was a suggestion to change the renaming rules so that they can specify what accounts they applied to, which would allow for you to direct them to different memorized payees/categories, but I can't find that suggestion to vote on.  It might have been removed because it didn't get enough votes.
