T Rowe Price---Portfolio Plus
Gary R
I tried to add T Rowe Price --Portfolio PLus but not recognized. I called T Rowe and they said it's suppposed to work with Quicken. I added it manually, but there are over a dozen funds to track this way.

Hi
@Gary
R
There apparently are two different T Rowe Price connection options when you go to setup an account in Quicken:
T. Rowe Price - which apparently is for retail brokerage accounts and connects to this website - www.troweprice.com/retailHome
T. Rowe Price Brokerage - which seems to be for institutional accounts and connects to this website -
http://corporate.troweprice.com/ccw/home.do
I suggest that you check the web address that you use to access your account via your web browser to determine which of the two above options you should use when you setup the account in Quicken.
Get back to me with any followups, etc.

Modern Financial Institutions (FI) have lots of different "arms" and sometimes those various arms don't all provide the same integration with Quicken. And, frequently, the FI's representative that happened to pick up the phone when you called doesn't really understand that.
Here's the T. Rowe Price information from fidir.txt and I have no idea which one of these, if any of them, provide the T. Rowe Price ActivePlus Portfolios (I assume that's what you're referring to) service. If you tried adding the Account as a 401(k) you get the "Retirement Plans" arm coming up but if you use Brokerage or IRA as the Account type you'll get the first two listings. So you might try playing around with adding the Account as a different type as see if that will work. Or, maybe better still, call T. Rowe Price again and see if they have a "Quicken" specialist that can help.

I tried all possible ways of adding the account and no success
I'll call tomorrow and see if they can help.
Thanks

T. Rowe Price ActivePlus accounts are not compatible with Quicken. I don't believe ActivePlus accounts will ever offer quicken integration.
