Size of columns in reports.

Why can't I adjust the size of columns in Reports. For that matter, remove or add different columns? Maybe I want different information in my monthly report/
Why is there a limit on how small I can make any window in Quicken? You have no idea how large or small my screen is, maybe I want to have 2 or 3 things open at the same time.

@Barbara O'Keeffe It sounds like you are using one of the 6 very old reports in Quicken. Don't use the report called "Category Summary" -- or any of the five other reports found under Reports > Other Reports and denoted with a gray icon. These are old reports which have limited configurability and are on their way to being eliminated from the program. Instead, use one of the reports that use the new reports engine, such as Transactions by Category or Category Summary by Year or Month.
The modern reports allow you to add or hide columns from the reports, change the order of columns, and adjust the width of columns.
The limit of minimum screen size has been explained by the product manager as being necessary to prevent elements of the user interface from disappearing or behaving unlike users would expect. Report windows, and account windows when opened separate from the main Quicken window, can be reduced to smaller sizes than the main window can.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19935
