Can not activate Quicken for Mac with same subscription code used for Windows
Alan Edelman
That about says it all. The website says this should be possible but it is not, in Quicken for Mac the activation box says the number has already been used. I supposedly have nearly a year left on the subscription. I only do automated downloads, no data entry, and just need to check totals when using different computer platforms.

Activation is for the Quicken.com account that handles the subscription information.
You shouldn't have to activate twice even for a different operating system. You should just be able to log in (to Quicken Mac) and it should show your subscription as active.

Did you log into the Quicken website -
- then scroll down - and download the Mac version
- install it
- open and enter your Quicken ID / password - if prompted
No Activation should be needed -
it's a one-time thing to update your Quicken ID info.
