I cannot find my back up files to open with Quicken

Hi @KenCunin ,

You can't simply put Quicken 2008 in your Documents folder. Quicken needs to be run from a Shortcut Icon on your Desktop to the actual program located in

C:\Program Files\Quicken

You need to download and install all the patches to Quicken 2008 from:

http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/quicken-2008-patches.html

Install Patch 7 first, then patches R8 and R9 in order.

Once Quicken is installed, you need to restore the Manual Backup file from within Quicken.

Who re-imaged your computer? Did they backup everything? Do you have a Quicken folder in your Documents folder? Did you make backups to an external device?

MicroCenter Columbus OH. Backup everything. Have Quicken 2008 in doc folder. They backed up on my external drive before the re-imaging

Download each the patch files from the link in @thecreator's post and double click on it. Why didn't MicroCenter reinstall Quicken? I service computers and always reinstall all programs after re-imaging.

As @Greg_the_Geek wrote, download the patches. Save them. To install, right-click on the patch and left-click Run as administrator to install.
