can you change the type of account from IRA to other asset, I can not see how to edit?

    We cannot change the type of an IRA to other asset.  I suggest you create the correct type of account, move the transactions from the IRA, and delete the IRA.  Before making any significant changes to the Quicken file, save a backup: press Ctrl + B
