Passwords from the password vault are missing after the 29.20 update

I complete the recent update and was told my file was being converted. After this conversion my password vault was empty and the add button was grayed out. I was told by Quicken support I had two options - 1) use a back up copy of my Quicken file or 2) deactivate all of my online account and reactivate all of the account. Option 1 is out of the question because I spent about two hours having to clean up an account issue before the software update. I tried option 2 on one of my banking accounts. Quicken downloaded almost four months of duplicate transactions. I now have to go in and manually delete those transactions. That will be a lot of time if I have to delete duplicate transactions from each account. As it turns out, I am screwed by both options. Any suggestions :s :s
