When I right click the quicken icon it shows several old files that no longer exist.
How do I remove them from the icon list?
Thank you

1. Open Quicken
2. Click menu File > Open Recent > Clear Menu
Note that the old files may not appear in Quicken's File menu even though they do appear when right-clicking the dock icon. Nevertheless, this should clear out both lists.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s5

The problem now is that after opening and closing a file, I then go and right click the dock icon to quickly open the last file opened and there is nothing there.0

You will have to navigate to the file(s) and open it from the Finder once. Then it/they will re-appear in the dock icon right click menu.
You may be able to find the file(s) by doing a spotlight search for ".quicken". However, the default location for Quicken files is /Users/yourname/Library/Application Support/Quicken/Documents which is not searched by spotlight. To navigate to this location, option-click the Go menu in the finder and then choose Library.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s0 -
All is now good Rick, thanks again 👍0

If you just have one file, or want to open your most recent file, there's no need to right-click. Just click on the Quicken icon. Quicken remembers your last-opened file, and will open it by default.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930
